There is something so freeing about the Oregon coast. This Cannon Beach Engagement Session was cold, windy, playful, and completely effortless. These two embraced every bit of the morning. They ran along the shoreline, laughed through the cold, and simply enjoyed being together. As a Destination Wedding Photographer, these are the kinds of sessions I love. A beautiful place, an incredible couple, and space to let the experience unfold naturally.

Cannon Beach gave us the perfect backdrop without ever taking away from what mattered most: their connection. The wind, the movement, and even the cold became part of their story. As a Phoenix Wedding Photographer, I am used to photographing warm desert light, but traveling somewhere completely different always inspires me to see things in a new way. Being an Oregon Wedding Photographer for the morning meant embracing the moody coastline, soft light, and everything that makes the Pacific Northwest feel so distinct.

More than anything, this Cannon Beach Engagement Session was a reminder that your photos do not need perfect conditions to feel beautiful. Sometimes the windblown hair, sandy feet, and uncontrollable laughter are exactly what make the photographs feel like you.
