From the heat of Scottsdale, Arizona to the stunning mountains of Salt Lake City, this Utah destination engagement session for Brookie and Andrew was a dream. As a Phoenix Wedding Photographer, I often get to shoot desert engagement sessions. So, being able to go into the mountains where this is greenery and different views than we have in Arizona is an absolute dream. When Brookie and Andrew asked me to come to Utah to shoot their destination engagement session, I could not say yes fast enough. They are having their own Arizona destination wedding in Sedona this fall with Your Jubilee at the stunning Amara Resort and Spa.

Being able to fly out of state for Brookie and Andrews Utah destination engagement session was so much fun. As a Scottsdale Wedding Photographer, I love exploring new places. However, as a wedding photographer, I also love getting to know my couples and their love stories. Not only does it help me know them better as a couple, but it helps me understand their story more and be able to tell it authentically.

As we hiked the beautiful Donut Falls near Salt Lake City, Utah I got to know these two more. I learned that they met the modern love story way of online dating. Which I always find so fun, because that is also how my husband and I met almost 12 years ago. They told me that their first date was coffee and church which was one of the sweetest first dates I’ve ever heard of. Now, this fall they will be getting married in Sedona, Arizona for their destination wedding. Being from Texas, Brookie knew she wanted something different but beautiful. It also holds a special places in her heart, as Sedona was their first road trip together as a couple.

I truly can’t wait for Brookie and Andrews classic and timeless Sedona wedding with the Your Jubilee girls. I know it is going to be an absolutely stunning wedding.
