As a Phoenix Wedding Photographer, I don’t often get to go up to shoot a Sedona destination elopement. However, when Marissa and Max reached out telling me they were traveling from Wisconsin to Arizona to have their Sedona destination elopement I was SO excited and could not say yes fast enough. Not only am I an Arizona Wedding Photographer, I am also a Destination Wedding Photographer. I photograph both engaged couples who are traveling to Arizona to get married, but I also photograph couples who are getting married in other beautiful destinations. So not only was I excited to shoot this Sedona wedding, I was excited to show my couple just how beautiful the Arizona desert is for wedding portraits!

Marissa and Max travel frequently and so they knew once they visited Sedona from Wisconsin, they needed to get married here. Their Sedona destination wedding was beautiful. It was filled with 30 of their closest friends and family. That was truly all needed and wanted. Their ceremony overlooked the beautiful Sedona red rocks at Sky Ranch Lodge which makes for a beautiful destination wedding backdrop. We then went to their Air BNB for a celebratory toast. Lastly, we stopped at Tlaquepaque for their portraits. I have photographed weddings and engagements at Tlaquepaque. I truly could never get over it. It has the most stunning architecture and lighting. It makes you feel as though you are transported to Italy. Which, side not, I would love to photograph a wedding in Italy!

I loved getting to know Marissa and Max with our short time together and I can’t wait to see the next adventures they take. Their Sedona wedding was one of my favorites this spring. The intimate group they had was so special. Congratulations to the newest Mr. and Mrs. Broeniman!
