An Arizona desert engagement session to tell a love story. Some love stories start over coffee or a dating app. Ally and Sam’s started with early morning workouts and a friendship that quietly grew into something neither of them could ignore. They spent almost a year as friends before they finally admitted what was already obvious to everyone around them. Now they are getting married this fall at the stunning Paseo near the Superstition Mountains. Naturally of course we had to have an Arizona desert engagement session to match their wedding vibes!

Grounded, real, and deeply rooted in Arizona. Their fall wedding at The Paseo will look out over the Superstition Mountains, so shooting their Scottsdale engagement session surrounded by saguaros, golden light, and that unmistakable desert landscape felt like the most natural way to tell the full story of them.

Something I love most about being an Arizona wedding photographer is that I get a window into a couples dynamic during their engagement session, before their wedding day. With Ally and Sam, it was so clear, so fast. They move around each other with ease, comfortable and playful energy, and laughing constantly.
