Rainy Pinetop Wedding Day

A rainy wedding day is not something every bride dreams about. This is not out of the norm for Pinetop. Although it was not rainy all day, it was for good chunk of the time. However, because I have the most amazing couples, Mikayla and Damian embraced it. They truly are a one of a kind couple. These two had their engagement session close by at the Mogollon Rim, where it was GUSTING wind. I’m talking crazy speeds to where I almost blew over. But nothing stops them from enjoying this beautiful chapter in their lives.

These two beautiful souls are high school sweethearts. They’ve been together for quite some time and it shows. They argue like the cute old married couples you see already. They banter and joke with one another. But they know how to show gentleness, kindness, and be loving and sweet towards one another. We did their portraits at 3 separate times because we wanted to be able to get as much as we could within the short windows we had of no rain. We had funny photos. We had lovey dovey photos. And we had some dramatic, breathtaking photos. Which truly sums Mikayla + Damian up to a tee.

This rainy Pinetop wedding day was one for the books. I truly could not have imagined a better day for them. Regardless of the rain, they did not let it stop them from celebrating what truly the day was about; them and their love. From rain to shine, these two will make it over all of the puddles, mountains, and thunderstorms life throws their way. I cannot wait to see what this next chapter brings you! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Woods!
