Rain or shine, that was the theme of Aimee and Jeremy’s St. Helen, Michigan wedding day. Was it going to stay sunny with some clouds or was it going to rain? Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. We prayed that the rain would hold out, and it did for most of the day! Thankfully the only time it truly down-poured was during their bridal party portraits (of which I was standing in the lovely downpour to capture their full bridal party!), but despite that and them not being able to have their ceremony on the lawn of their gorgeous venue The Barn at Evergreen Farms, everything was absolutely perfect and stunning. And that’s all that married. That these two were finally married!
We got to take a few portraits at Aimee’s parents house where they have a small little body of water. It had a special place in their hearts, as this was the spot that Jeremy proposed to Aimee! No better place to take some portraits of them in their wedding attire than where it all started.
There wasn’t a dry eye during their ceremony. So many friends and family traveled all over the country to be there for these two; me included! Aimee told me when she booked me that I was the one she wanted to photograph her beautiful wedding in Michigan. I was in absolute awe. It was my first time shooting a wedding outside of Arizona, and I could not have been more excited. I cannot thank Aimee, Jeremy, and their family enough for allowing me this amazing opportunity to not only photograph this stunning wedding, but to get to travel to Michigan where I had never been before. Let me tell you, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. SO. MUCH. GREEN!
Congratulations again to these two love birds who pulled off a total Pinterest worthy wedding. I cannot wait to see what the next chapters of your lives have in store for you!

[…] Summer Farm Engagement Session?! Say no more! Totally obsessed with Michelle and Michaels engagement session that we did this summer at The Farm at South Mountain. Although it was warm, these two were troopers and totally rocked their session. I loved how green this adorable was. The last time I saw this much greenery was during one of my destination weddings in Michigan! […]
