Downtown Phoenix Wedding at MonOrchid

A sunny, but warm fall Downtown Phoenix wedding. All the way from California, and all over the country for that matter, Xiaotong and Murat welcomed their closest friends and family to their first wedding celebration. MonOrchid in Downtown Phoenix was the absolute perfect look for their classic wedding. Touches of red, with their black and white aesthetic was timeless.

Their wedding was one for the books. Xiaotong and Murat went the unconventional route for their first wedding here in Phoenix. They both got ready together the morning of, at the stunning Cambria Hotel. The architecture of this hotel truly went so well with their Downtown Phoenix wedding vibe they had. From their industrial, modern ceremony location at MonOrchid, flowing through to their portraits with the graffiti throughout the streets around Monroe. There was no better way to capture this chapter of their love story.

Since Murat and Xiaotong were one of my destination couples, I did not get the chance to do their engagement photos, so I got to know them and their love story on their wedding day as they got ready. I got to learn about the sweetest, most intimate proposal in their home in California. I had the chance to talk with some of their closest friends to learn about them and their love story as well.

I can’t thank these two enough for trusting me to capture their beautiful wedding day. They were some of the kindest individuals I have ever met and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter in life takes them!
