Rain or shine, Alex and Jason’s colorful Mountain Shadows wedding was going to happen. With a few little drizzles here and there, we got lucky! We were able to have their ceremony overlooking the beautiful mountains in Scottsdale. Even though they did not get to have their reception on the rooftop terrace at the beautiful Mountain Shadows. Katie with Cedar and Sage killed their design inside the ballroom. Alex and Jason were such troopers and a very go with the flow kind of couple. We were truly blessed to have the best vendor team this beautiful November wedding day.
From the moment Katie reached out to me about this colorful Mountain Shadows wedding, I was in love. The stunning florals from Fleur De Vie I knew would be chefs kiss. The upgraded ceremony and reception chair rentals. The overall ambiance of the day was beautiful. Alex and Jason had their friend sage their ceremony before they walked down the aisle which was such a beautiful ode to their day. After having Alex’s sister pass away and Jasons mom pass away not too long before their wedding day, they wanted to go in with a fresh slate. As their ceremony started, the sun peeked out just a little and let rays of light shine off to the side. It was a beautiful reminder that their family was still there looking over their beautiful Scottsdale wedding.
I loved everything about this day. It was one of the most candid, documentary style wedding days. Nothing beats the views of a Mountain Shadows wedding and I can’t wait to be back there to celebrate more in the next year!
