Greek Orthodox Luxury Scottsdale Wedding

The beauty of this Greek Orthodox luxury Scottsdale wedding was one of my dream weddings. It was truly breathtaking. The love. The support. The traditions. It was all perfect.

Christiana and Daniel got married in the beautiful Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona. With white florals, the most thought out details, and the love and support from their family, these two truly had the most amazing day.

Being a fly on the wall for the traditions these two celebrated in their religion made me feel so enlightened. To be able to watch those closest to them celebrate their love by being a part of their ceremony. From the Stefana which is the exchanging of the martial crowns to the other sacred traditions of Bethrothal (the exchanging of the rings), Lighting of the lambathes, and finishing off with the Dance of Isaiah. I’ve never felt an energy quite like the one from their wedding. It was truly such a blessed day.

Once we got to their husband and wife portraits, it was like these two had practiced their entire lives for this. They fell into posing so easily and naturally. The church they were married in was picture perfect for photos, and thats what Christiana really wanted was to emphasize was the beauty of it. Her religion and this marriage to her husband Daniel meant so much.

I can’t thank these two enough for allowing me the opportunity to photograph their breathtaking wedding and commitment to each other. I wish them a lifetime of happiness and love. Na zisete!
