Rain or shine, the wedding will happen. Sometimes in Arizona, it doesn’t matter what season it is, it will be both in one day. That was the case at Mary Grace and Kyles wedding. It was sunshine and beautiful and then it got a bit gloomy, but these two made the most out of it and had one of the most gorgeous weddings I’ve ever had the honor to photograph.
These two are living in Hawaii where Kyle is currently stationed, but traveled to Arizona to have their wedding since that is where they are from and where all of their friends and family live. They got married in a beautiful Catholic ceremony in Tucson, Arizona with the reception to follow at The Gallery Golf Club. It started to pour pretty bad during their husband and wife portraits, but no problem, because I always come prepared and had a clear umbrella to help protect them from the water droplets. And boy did we make some magic for their portraits with it. It’s not often you get to photograph with an umbrella in the rain because most photographers deem it to be “bad,” but I sometimes love a little challenge to push me out of my comfort zone and get creative.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, may their life in Hawaii and wherever the military takes them be one filled with love and bliss.
