Tucson Engagment – Agua Caliente Park | Christina + Logan
High school is a time in everyones lives where they’re truly trying to find out who they are, where they belong, what they want to do with their lives, and who they want to spend the rest of their lives with (both romantically and not).
I come from a small town about an hour of Tucson, Arizona. I graduated in 2011 in a class of around 500 students, I believe. I went to school with both Christina and Logan. Logan graduating in 2008 and Christina in 2010. Funny story, these two didn’t know each other in high school. I knew Christina although I wouldn’t say we were close, we just ran around in the same circles occasionally and knew a lot of the same people. We were friends on Facebook, liking and commenting on each others posts every once and awhile. I knew of Logan and knew some of the people he hung around, but not as much as I did with Christina. Now, how they met and fell in love, is one story I love.
When at their engagement session, I asked how they met, figuring it would be from high school. I was mistaken. Christina laughed her adorable little laugh and said “I slide into his DM’s and messaged him saying ‘Oops, I accidently added you’, and the rest was history!” Now, knowing Christina I have seen her grow up alongside me, and I can say, I have truly never seen her glow the way she is around Logan. She giggles at everything. She looks at him with love filling her eyes. She just radiates. I can also say the same about Logan. Men sometimes don’t like to show their affection because society has stigmatized it was “weak,” but not for Logan. Not only does she show his love for Christina, he shows it towards her daughter Charlotte as well and that’s what truly warms my heart. You would never guess that she wasn’t his biological daughter. That’s a real man in my book.
These two will be getting married in Hawaii in July of next year, and to say I am excited, is an understatement. I can’t wait to see these two tie the knot in one of the most gorgeous locations in the world. Their beautiful love, in a beautiful location, with beautiful images. PERFECTION!
