So many brides pray to not have a rainy wedding day. However, they don’t usually pray to not have a windy wedding day. That was the case for Kelsey and Kevin’s spring Arizona Golf Club wedding. Although it was a beautiful, sunny February day in Phoenix, it was a windy one. Kelsey and Kevin celebrated with their closest family and friends at the beautiful Wedgewood Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear. Stunning touches of maroon and grey really made them and their bridal party stand out against the greenery of the golf course.
You typically see only grass and trees on a golf course, but not at this beautiful venue. For this spring Arizona golf club wedding, we had some of their portraits done in a cactus garden on the property. This is a huge staple for this golf club, as its such a gorgeous photo op for their couples.
I loved working with Kevin and Kelsey. They’re funny and goofy. They’re playful and witty. I love watching their dynamic together. Even during their beautiful Arizona desert engagement session, they were still their fun and goofy selves. I love when couples are so comfortable around each other and don’t have issues just being their normal selves. It makes all the more love and magic show in their images. During Kelsey and Kevin’s husband and wife portraits, we had the most stunning Arizona sunset. The glow from behind the cacti and trees truly was so magical. I am absolutely obsessed with Wedgewood Palm Valley. Funny story, my husband and I actually looked at this venue when we were getting married!
Lets give a big cheers and congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Bettenbrock. I know that you two will have so many years of a fun, blissful, and loving marriage!
