Scottsdale Greek Orthodox Wedding

From the getting ready and details down to the high energy reception, Pennie and Chris’ Scottsdale Greek Orthodox wedding was one for the books. If you know anything about Greek weddings, they are WILD. I don’t know if I was truly prepared for the energy level that their guests had. All wedding receptions need to have the hype of this one.

The moment I met Pennie and Chris, I knew I would have the best time capturing their Scottsdale Greek Orthodox wedding. The love these two share is something so special, kind, and unlike so many. When I photographed their Scottsdale engagement session, I got to know their story and it wasn’t your typical modern day love story. They met a Greek community party, where you guessed it, they were all dancing the night away! Talk about a true 360 and divine intervention. From dancing there to dancing now, their wedding day was so beautiful and authentic.

When I think of how wedding days should be, it is just like this. As a Scottsdale wedding photographer, all I truly want is to capture the moments. Not the staged posing, not the family photos, but the true authentic ones. The ones where you look at your partner in a quiet moment and just smile. Wiping away the tears. Full joyous moments that can’t be staged. That is what it felt like Pennie and Chris’ wedding day was like. These two will move mountains, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes them on their newest adventure.
