From the top of a cliff in Scottsdale at the Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain for their engagement to the desert of Mesa at Desert View Weddings for their wedding, Andrew and Rachel’s Scottsdale desert engagement session was a show stopper. not only did we shoot at The Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain, but also the infamous Hole in the Rock at Papago Park right outside of downtown Phoenix.
The Sanctuary was a special place to Andrew and Rachel, so it only made sense to do a portion of their engagement photos here. Rachel also wanted some beautiful desert scenery, so we had to add in a touch of Papago for their Scottsdale desert engagement session. These two love birds met the modern day love story way, online! Time passed and Andrew took Rachel to dinner at the beautiful Elements at the Sanctuary, and that’s where he asked her to marry him! Now these two will be tying the knot this September at the stunning Desert View Weddings in Mesa. This jaw dropping venue overlooks the Superstition Mountains. Make sure to keep an eye out for my first blog post of this venue from one of my other couples Arizona Destination wedding there.
I loved working with these two so much. Slowly their quiet demeanors came out of their shells once we got rolling and created some absolute magic. They’re both naturals in front of the camera, and the way that Andrew makes Rachel laugh and smile so effortlessly is my favorite. Now, lets get these two married!
