Rainy Salt River Engagement Session

This rainy engagement session at the Salt River in Mesa, Arizona was one for the books. As a natural light photographer, I sometimes panic when I see rain in the forecast. However, I was NOT going to let that ruin Peri and Andy’s engagement session that they flew ALL the way from Michigan for. So no chances of rescheduling as they were only here for a few short days to finish some of their wedding planning.

Cracking open a High Noon and writing Andy on the bottom of her foot to reference the adorable Toy Story movie. Peri and Andy’s engagement was totally them and their personalities. They made it fun. They then also changed into a dressy outfit to get both casual and fancy for their engagement photos. Peri wanted water for their session, so what better way to do that then to go to the Salt River! It truly made for some beautiful images.

Michigan is where these two call home and where they met. Much like my husband and myself, these two met online. Dated for only a few short months and then got engaged! Sometimes when you know, you just know. Peri even knew they were getting engaged before it even happen. When we first started chatting, she told me about their love story. I fell in love with it. She explained what she wanted out of their engagement session, and I just knew we were meant to work with each other. We vibed SO well.

These two love birds are getting married in November 2023 and I can’t be more excited for them. The beautiful inspo photos that Peri has shown me so far is BREATHTAKING. You will NOT want to miss those images! So cheers to these two getting married soon!
