Taylor and Ryan’s Phoenician Resort engagement session was everything an Arizona Wedding Photographer could dream of. It had meaning behind it. It wasn’t your typical desert or green landscape, it held a deeper meaning to them and their love story. Taylor and Ryan are high school sweethearts who have been together for over 7 years. They have not only grown up together, but they have built a life together. As a Scottsdale Wedding Photographer, I love hearing more about my couples stories from how they met, how they got engaged, and everything in between. Now, lets dive deeper into their story and why they chose the Phoenician Resort for their engagement session.

Their Phoenician Resort engagement session had more than one behind it, it had two. Not only did these two have one of their first dates here. When they were walking around, Taylor mentioned how special it would be to be proposed to in their cactus garden. That was 7 years prior. Fast forward and Ryan had originally planned on proposing on a friends boat on Lake Pleasant but last minute it didn’t work out. So he went back to where it all started 7 years ago. The Phoenician Resort. They climbed one of the small hiking trails to an overlook where you could see the mountain ranges and Downtown Phoenix. So there truly was no better option for these two than to have a Phoenician Resort engagement session!
