Sometimes people get married at stunning venues that overlook mountains, sometimes golf courses, but not Debora and Dustin. They had a beautiful warehouse wedding on the outskirts of Sierra Vista, Arizona. This warehouse used to be an old door shop, hence its name The Old Door Shop. Its modern look really gave me a taste for something other than the Arizona desert, and I loved it so much. Being out of my comfort zone truly lets my creative juices flow.
Debora and Dustin are one of my favorite couples. I’ve known Debora since high school when I cheered with her sister Tina. I had the honor to photograph not only her sister and niece for years, but I was able to photograph Deborah when she was pregnant with their little girl and some more family photos after that! Being able to capture the milestones of my clients and friends has been one of the biggest joys in my life.
These two met while Debora was in college and Dustin was just joining the police force. Their whirlwind romance was anything but conventional, but it was them. It was their love story, and it was perfect for them. Debora had the most stunning design for her wedding with the beautiful terracota and navy blue. She made alot of the decor herself, alongside her family. Although we loved the inside, we took their portraits outdoors. We got both a modern feel on the outside of the building, as well as for the desert views with the Huachuca Mountains. This warehouse wedding was truly so magical and beautiful, all within such a small space.
Stay tuned, because these two actually came up to Scottsdale, Arizona for an even better view for some post wedding portraits in their wedding attire. I will be blogging that soon and I can not wait to show you all!
