Maximus Leon – In Home Newborn Session
There is something so special and sweet about bringing home a new baby. Whether its your first, second, or your tenth, the serenity is unlike any other. Among the chaos, there is calm. There is that sweet newborn smell. The tiny fingers and toes. Through the all nighters, and the multiple mental breakdowns you can have as a new mom, nothing beats those precious baby snuggles and the bond you two create in just a few short days.
Catherine and Anthony welcomed their 3rd baby (Catherineβs 4th), a little boy, Maximus Leon. His middle name has a special meaning since it is his older sisters name, Noel, spelt backwards. Her name may ring a bell to you since I wrote a blog post about her during her brother, Noahβs newborn session a little over a year ago. Sheβs a sweet angel baby, watching over her two younger brothers, and her big sister Lilly.
This family is one of my favorites, and you can see why. They are some of the kindest, most humbled individuals you will ever meet. Their children are also the brightest souls. Thereβs always something a little bitter sweet about photographing them because we are missing another sweet face. I make sure to ALWAYS have Noel in the photos, because although she is not physically here, she is always here in spirit with us.
I often βseeβ her. Catherine associates hummingbirds with Noel. Although hummingbirds are native to Arizona and are seen often, Iβve had a few encounters with them that make me think Noel is letting me know she is around and watching over me and my family too. I often have humming birds who will come RIGHT next to me, almost touching me, and even stop within feet of me and just hover, as if theyβre just looking at me.
Catherine and Anthony, you two are so incredibly important to me. Your family is so beautiful, and I am so happy to have been a part of this journey for you all as you continue to grow your family. Your babies are absolutely precious and you two are doing the most amazing job at raising the best tiny humans. Until next time my sweet friends.
