Kelsey + Kevin | Desert Wildflower Engagement Session

Imagine trying to date during a pandemic. Just a few short weeks after the world shuts down. So many unknowns. However, one thing was true; Kelsey and Kevin knew they wanted to meet and get to know each other.

These two met online during a world crisis where no one knew what to do. However, these two knew they did not want to be alone during such trying times. With everything being shut down, they had to get creative on things to do on dates while still learning about one another. Pretty crazy if you ask me! Time quickly passed as these two fell in love with each other, and now they are set to get married in February 2023 at Wedgewood Weddings Palm Valley. I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their wedding day. I actually even toured their venue when I was engaged over 7 years ago!

We shot their engagement session at the White Tank Mountains on a slightly overcast day when the wildflowers were blooming in the desert, and I was totally and utterly obsessed with the tiny pops of color from the yellow flowers. The way these two loved on one another was so special and sweet, and I’m so excited for them to start their new chapter together as Mr. and Mrs. Bettenbrock!
