Kasey + Brent | Desert Private Estate Wedding

Family is one of the most important things on a wedding day. Of course it is about the bride and the groom, but its about a union of two families together. Little girls dream of their dad walking them down the aisle and giving them away to the man who stole their heart.

The week before Kasey and Brent’s wedding, Kasey’s dad suffered a heart attack. Literally the day before their wedding, he was released from the hospital and was able to walk his little girl down the aisle. Kasey had a very special gift for him as their first dance; his mother singing a song for their dance together. To say there wasn’t a dried eye at that wedding would be an understatement. It was one of the most sentimental gifts I have ever seen given at a wedding. Nothing could ever replace it. To have that special dance with her dad, was magical.

The love that Brent and Kasey share together is such a sweet one. They included their adorable German Shepards in their ceremony and I absolutely adored it all, even down to their little bow ties. This intimate wedding at Casa Sabrosa, was definitely a gorgeous one in the Arizona desert, isolated from the rest of the city so that they could enjoy the peace and calming effect that this beautiful venue had to offer being on the outskirts.

Sometimes it isn’t about the glitz and the glamour. It’s about being with the ones we love. Cherishing even the smallest of moments for the biggest days. We are never promised tomorrow, so although it can take months, sometimes years to plan a wedding, it ultimately is your day and whatever makes you happy, however long it takes, what truly matters is you are marrying the love of your life. Nothing and no one will ever be able to take that from you. So hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight and remember to never leave any words unsaid.
