Fall Wisconsin Riverside Wedding

What is better than a fall wedding on the Wisconsin Riverside? Nothing! Especially for this Arizona wedding photographer who doesn’t see much other than cacti and palo verde trees in the Phoenix area! Mariah and Zach were SO gracious and amazing to fly me all the way out to Wisconsin where they are from. These two adventurous souls met in high school and somehow ended up in Arizona of all places, where they eventually got engaged! They hired me to do their engagement photos in Sedona, and then asked me to come all the way out to Wisconsin to capture their big day. To say I was shocked and honored all in the same breath is an understatement. Of course, I happily said YES!

This fall Wisconsin wedding took place on the Wisconsin Riverside resort. Breathtaking does not describe it enough. Being a Phoenix wedding photographer, I don’t often get to see the leaves change. Or see a whole lot of water for that matter. However, for their October wedding, I got to see BOTH! Cue happy dance. The colors that they chose for their wedding and the colors that just magically change color in the fall truly was so amazing. I was awe struck. Mariah and Zach are very outdoorsy individuals, so it was only right for them to have recycled paper for their invitation suite and biodegradable confetti to throw at the end of the ceremony. It was the small hints of them and their story that I think I loved the most. Not to mention they had whiskey shots during their ceremony as well; like how cool!

Sadly I had to fly back home to Arizona after only a few days in Wisconsin, but I truly will never be thankful enough for the opportunity to see such a beautiful part of this country we live in. I may have visited a few places to try and get some cheese too; because you obviously can’t go to Wisconsin and NOT have cheese. So does this make me a Wisconsin Wedding Photographer now? I think so!

Congratulations again to the new Mr. and Mrs. Woock! May your adventures never end, and your love goes as far as the beautiful sunsets. Keep forever chasing each other like you do your adventures. Love you two so much!
