College. They say it’s one of the best times in your life. This rang true for Casey and Melissa. Casey was playing basketball at Cornell College in Idaho where he met Melissa in 2011 and the rest is history. They met from a mutual person who thought they were the perfect match and were they ever!
I’ve known Casey since I was about 13 years old since we went to high school together and even a little before that. Our best friends are actually married to one another, and we were both in their wedding a little over 3 years ago! I cheered him on in high school since he was on our varsity basketball team and I was on our varsity cheer squad; I’m pretty sure I even made a few signs for him throughout the years! We’ve spent a lot of time together over the years due to our group of friends. Now, over 10 years later, we got brought back together when Melissa wanted engagement photos that represented the beautiful Arizona desert; no better place than the outskirts of Phoenix. She wanted the BIG sahuaro cacti, with something that screamed the opposite of their snowy Idaho town and Casey said he knew the perfect person for the job!
I’m so excited for these two to be married this fall, and it was such a pleasure working with an old friend I’ve known since I was a teenager and grew up with. He truly picked a beautiful and amazing woman to marry. I mean, look at Melissa, she’s a dang bombshell if you ask me! So here’s to many more years of happiness and love (since they’ve been together for almost 10 years, holy cannoli!). These two were truly meant for one another!
