Arizona, Fall, and Garden don’t typically go together but let me tell you, this beautiful wedding at Hope Barn and Gardens in Phoenix was truly breathtaking. Megan and Jake were one of my absolute favorite couples to work with this fall; their personalities were just so amazing, they were so funny, and I felt like I was just hanging out with some friends anytime I was around them. Their engagement session was so much fun, but their wedding was even more exhilarating!

These two partied like I’ve never experienced. They truly were celebrating their love with the ones who meant the most to them. During their ceremony, they even took some shots. Like, how cool are they?! Nothing beat the beautiful Arizona weather for this fall garden and barn wedding. I can definitely see why so many couples love getting married in the fall. The barn where their reception was held made for a beautiful backdrop for their first look, bridal portraits, and bridal party portraits. However, all Jake wanted was some photos in the desert. So I looked far and wide around the property and low and behold, I found ONE cacti and he was SO excited. Their portraits were truly magical.

The love that Jake has for his bride, Megan, is one of a kind. I have never seen a guy who although he is funny, has a tough outer shell like most guys, cry for their brides BEFORE seeing them. I went to get Megan for their first look in front of this beautiful garden and barn and when I got back, Jake was already crying. I’m such a sap, so I started crying while photographing it. Jake’s grandfather passed away, so Megan gifted him the most beautiful cufflinks for their wedding day. They had his face on them, as well as a little saying that was sentimental to Jake. What a thoughtful gift.

Blessed does not even describe how lucky I am to work with these two. I don’t know how I get SO lucky with the most amazing, genuine, and sweet couples. I wish these two so many years of wedded bliss. Their love is so special after hearing from all of their loved ones during their speeches. They truly are soulmates. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Wilson!
