Theres something so special about not only photographing a proposal but doing it for one of your favorite vendor friends. Cody and Shelby’s Sedona proposal at Mariposa was a dream. I have photographed these two before for their Christmas cards, and so when Cody texted me asking me to photograph it I audibly SCREAMED! Not only have I been waiting for this moment forever, but the entire wedding community, as well as Shelby has.

Shelby is an Arizona planner for Your Jubilee, so her Sedona proposal at Mariposa had to be top notch. As an Arizona wedding photographer, I knew I had to nail these photos. She was shocked when it happened! Although, I do think she had a bit of an inkling that it was about to happen since she said Cody was acting a little weird when they first walked up. Of course the nerves get to all the guys proposing, but it ended up being perfect. Her reaction was everything we could have hoped for and I am SO excited to see all of the planning that they do! Everyone in the wedding industry knows that this is going to be one of the wedding industries Royal Wedding. So stay tuned!
