As an Arizona wedding photographer, I don’t often get to travel too much out of Scottsdale. However, Gemma and John flew me out for their fall Seattle destination elopement. From their gorgeous home that overlooks one of the Seattle ports, to the beauty of Parsons Gardens in the historic area of Seattle that had the most stunning views. I truly was so grateful to not only be a part of their engagement photos at Wrigley Mansion, but also a part of their small elopement.
Gemma and John surprised her dad and their two girls with their fall Seattle destination elopement. Gemma got ready and asked her dad to come up to her bedroom before they left for “dinner.” He was absolutely shocked. John then took me and the girls to Parsons Gardens where he told them that they were eloping in the park. Gemmas friend married them in a small ceremony, surrounded by some of their closest loved ones. Of course not forgetting about Gemmas dog, Rugger who was the “best dog.”
Nothing beat the beauty of this special day. Gemmas flowers were grown in the garden at their home. They got to spend the evening celebrating with their family and friends. Soon, they were off to Lake Como, Italy for their honeymoon. I was supposed to attend, but due to the giant storms we had in Phoenix that day I flew out, I unfortunately was unable to make it. But we will get that opportunity again, and I can’t wait to see the amazing things that Gemma and John do now as a married couple!
