From the moment I met Cari and Mikey for their desert engagement session, I knew they were my kind of couple. Their Ocotillo Golf Club wedding day was no different. They brought the fun energy and just went with the flow the entire day. Cari and Mikey are some of the most kind, genuine, and down to earth individuals. The moment you meet them, you just can feel how soft and welcoming they are. During their ceremony, their officiant who was a family member even mentioned how Mikey makes friends everywhere he goes. If that doesn’t speak about his character I don’t know what does. Cari is the exact same way.
Hearing all of the amazing stories from their friends and family during their reception toasts was so special. Their Ocotillo Golf Club wedding was full of tears and laughter. They were surrounded by so much love that you could feel the energy of it radiating in the room. So many had gathered to celebrate them. Their reception was one of my absolute favorites. They had the traditional Jewish hora dance where their friends and family raised them up on two chairs and danced around them. As a Phoenix wedding photographer, this is one of my favorite traditions. As the night went on, Cari and Mikey brought the energy to their dance floor with Gilbert from Genuine DJs, and it kept everyone partying all night!
These two are some of my favorite humans, and I loved being a part of their wedding day. I truly can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes them as husband and wife!
