Golden Desert Engagement Session

No better time to blog Amy and Jesus’ beautiful golden desert engagement session than the week of their wedding! Although we did their engagement session in the fall, I’ve been swamped with weddings, but I couldn’t let one more day go by without sharing this dreamy Phoenix golden desert engagement session.

Getting to know these two was an absolute blast. It took Jesus’ a couple minutes to warm up to me, as it does for most guys. Lets be real, 99% of the men don’t want to be their for the photos! After chatting with them a bit, he opened up more and got more comfortable as the session went on. I got to learn about how they met at a friends house, where they were both dating separate people at the time. Their paths crossed constantly as their friends groups were both fairly close to one another. Amy even admitted to be she did not like Jesus’ at first, at which point I laughed quite loudly.

As time went on, so did their relationship. Unsure of if they ever wanted to get married, Jesus surprised Amy at a suprise birthday he threw for her, which ended up also being a fun little party to also celebrate their engagement. In front of their closest friends and family, Jesus asked Amy to marry him, to which she said yes! Now, in just a few short days, these two will be getting married at the beautiful Villa Siena in Gilbert, Arizona.
